Vlisco african fabrics

A new discovery - beautiful African fabrics by Vlisco.  I saw their ad in the March issue of Essence Magazine which arrived in the mail today (Friday).  I learned that Vlisco is a Dutch textile firm, designers and producers of colorful fashion fabrics serving West and Central Africa since 1846.  Top couture designers including Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano have used or interpreted their fabrics.

I absolutely swooned over their fashion forward website and will make it a favorite.  They have an online store and ship internationally to the US.   All fabric is sold in 6 yard lengths, enough for an outfit - or quilt.  www.vlisco.com
