Attack of the UFOs - Day 1

Follow along on my annual UFO (unfinished projects) purge.

Day 1

The first task was to get everything back into my sewing room.  Quilting projects were everywhere - mainly the dining room, my go-to place for actual sewing.

The next task was to make the hard decision about what projects I will realistically complete.  This is a hard thing to do, and I'm always surprised at just how hard it is.  The money, effort and time spent on some of these projects conjures up a certain amount of guilt. I replace the guilt by thinking of the quilters on limited incomes and the charity groups who will be blessed by my donations.

The third task is to decide in advance how many UFOs to keep, otherwise it's just rearranging the pile. I started out with 12, one for each month of the year.

All of the stuff to sort is now on my cutting table which I won't be using anyway because I'm not starting any new projects in January LOL.

I have opportunities to donate UFOs this month which gives me the push that I need.
