Solar Eclipse 2017
It took the Solar Eclipse to get me blogging again.
Pittsburgh was not in the total eclipse path, but it did get dark and cloudy for an hour or so. A few of generous coworker passed around her solar glasses. The sun was shining, but when I looked at it through the glasses it changed to a reddish orange ball surrounded by darkness. Neat.
Here's a quilt block I designed in honor of the occasion.
